ABOUT ME
Jennifer Morrison
M. Ed. RCC
Hi, my name is Jenn. I’m the owner of Happymess Counselling Inc. I’m a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) and I belong to the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC). They’re the leading institute for counsellor oversight in our province. Find my profile in their directory right here. I’m also an instructor at the Vancouver College of Counsellor Training. Find my profile on their website right here.
I began my career over ten years ago in the non-profit sector of Vancouver, BC. I’ve worked in prisons, shelters, universities, and employment centers. Check out my professional experience right here. I have sat with people from every conceivable background. What I’ve learned through the years is simple – all people want is to be seen, heard, and valued. This is what I offer, wrapped in a blanket of evidence based therapeutic practices.
My combination of education, skills, and experience makes me a uniquely qualified counsellor. So come talk to me about what’s bothering you - I’m ready when you are.

ABOUT MY OFFICE
The Nest
My office is a special place, both to my clients and myself.
My office is a special place. A safe haven to relax in. It’s a place to let your guard down, to be vulnerable in the company of a caring professional.
Hospitality is very important to me. When you walk in, you'll be greeted warmly with a hug. There will be a glass of water waiting for you. I’ll offer you a coffee or a cup of tea. You can take your coat off, even your shoes if you like. There are soft blankets for you to cuddle into and get comfortable. A little dog may be present! The lighting is soft – no fluorescents here. The diffuser will be gently going. The tone is set and it’s time for us to get to work.
The nest is for healing, for exploring, for recovering. It’s a place to get your bearings or lose them. One day, you’ll leave for the last time. The safety and security we shared will be yours to take with you, into the rest of your life. You’ll confidently walk out the door, and I’ll be so happy for you.
And the nest will be here, should you ever need it again.
